Wedding Childcare

The Little Top are the original wedding childcare specialists. We create beautiful spaces for your smaller guests with toys, games, dressing up rails and amazing craft activities, and provide our fantastic team of friendly, professional childcarers and mind blowing entertainers.

Children can really make a wedding; however during certain parts of the day, both children and parents can really appreciate a bespoke perfect space to escape and be entertained and looked after.

Our Staff

We provide trained, friendly professional wedding childcare staff with DBS checks and experience in childcare/children's entertainment. At least one member of each creche will hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and paediatric first aid certificate.

We work to OFSTED childcare ratio guidelines:

Age of Child -- Adult to Child Ratio
Under 1 year- we recommend 1 on 1 care

1 - 2 years -- 1 adult to 3 children
2 - 3 years -- 1 adult to 4 children
4 + years -- 1 adult to 8 children

If you have any children with special needs we will make sure we provide the right team with the right experience to look after your children. We only use trained, experienced staff from our own team and from our sister agencies we have long standing relationships with.

We have full public liability insurance through a leading childcare specialist, and are happy to talk to your venue about any questions they may have.

We always like to give a personalised quote to suit the style of your wedding, the children, the parents, the venue and your budget. Some example prices are below, however, we make sure you receive a completely bespoke service, so please do get in touch to discuss your specific event and childcare needs.

If we are working within an hour of our South West London base we can provide our fabulous and fun childcare team. We are all DBS checked and our specialist team have paediatric first aid training are Level 3 qualified early years child carers and nannies.

We have regular Little top team training to make sure we have lots of fun, games and silliness up our stylish sleeves. We will send through a plan for the day, and can include mealtime supervision, treasure hunts, a mini disco, a sleepover film night with popcorn, craft workshops and onsite babysitting

We can also offer overnight or 'morning after' hangover childcare ( this may require staff accommodation to be provided if we are not based locally)

Further afield, we work with some fantastic childcare agencies to make sure your little ones safe, happy and having so much fun that the parents can relax and enjoy their day

From face painters to bubble artists, our resident balloon genius to sports days, photo booths and magicians, we can happily suggest some of our amazing entertainers to help enhance your day. We have beautiful white bouncy castles, disco balls, lighting specialists, ice cream vans, bike hire, hula hoop workshops and all manner of madness available... So please do let us know if we can help to organise anything extra and keep the stress from your day!
